Mohanlal's upcoming magnum opus Randamoozham will start rolling in July 2019, according to producer BR Shetty and director VA Shrikumar Menon. The duo announced the news via their social media handles. 

As per BR Shetty, Randamoozham will feature many celebrated names from both Indian and world cinema. He also added that the pre-production work is almost done. The project is expected to be launched officially soon. Shrikumar Menon has also confirmed the same.

The film is based on MT Vasudevan Nair's novel of the same name. The book is also available under the English title, Bhima: The Lone Warrior.

This will be Shrikumar Menon's second project after Odiyan, featuring Mohanlal in the titular role of Odiyan Manikyan, which is expected to be released on October 11.
