For his upcoming directorial starring Ravichandran and Upendra, Om Prakash Rao has roped in Shanvi Srivastava to play the female lead.

As reported earlier, this film brings together a power-packed trio, Real Star (Uppi), Crazy Star (Ravichandran) and director Om prakash Rao. Made under RS Productions, the film will have three heroines. While Nimika Ratnakar was initially finalised, producer R Srinivas has now confirmed that Shanvi is the next one chosen. "Now that the lead cast has been finalised,  we are almost set to roll. We will probably be going on floors from August 20," says the producer. Meanwhile, ahead of the first schedule, the team has planned a photoshoot on August 16.

Shanvi, who is currently shooting for Rakshit Shetty-starrer Avane Srimannarayana, made her Kannada debut with director Om Prakash Rao in Chandralekha and this will be her second collaboration with him. Touted to be a commercial entertainer, the makers plan to title the film, Hoysala. "We are still in talks with Ramu Enterprises, who hold the copyrights," adds the producer.
