Rahul Riji Nair's debut film Ottamuri Velicham has been selected to screen at the 15th Indian Film Festival to be held at Stuttgart, Germany. The director also announced that the film has been nominated for the prestigious German Star of India Award (Best Film), Directors Vision Award and the Audience Award. 

The screening will be held on Sunday, July 22nd, at 2:00 pm. Ottamuri Velicham deals with the less-discussed  and overlooked subject of marital rape. Starring Deepak Parambol and Vinitha Koshy, the film won four Kerala State Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Editor, Special Jury Award (Vinitha Koshy) and Second Best Actress (Pauly Valsan).
