Biju Menon's latest, Padayottam, will be hitting screens on August 17. Directed by Rafeek Ibrahim, the gangster comedy is written by Ajai Rahul and Arun AR. Dileesh Pothan and Lijo Jose Pellissery appear in supporting roles along with Anu Sithara, Saiju Kurup, Anand Radhakrishnan and Basil Joseph.

Biju Menon's ruffian look in the film has piqued everyone's curiosity and led some to the assumption that it's going to be a dark and fully serious film. However, writers Ajai and Arun recently told us that there will be enough humour to balance the serious situations.

Sophia Paul is producing the film under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.
