Last seen in Mani Ratnam's Kadal, Lakshmi Manchu is back to Tamil cinema with Radha Mohan's Kaatrin Mozhi. The actor, who will be sharing screen space for the first time with Jyotika in the film, says that she has found a great friend in her. "A few days back, she sent me a two-and-half-minute voice note telling me many amazing things. I'll be saving it, so I can play it every time I have a bad day. Rarely do we come across such friends in our lives."

Lakshmi, who has been a friend of Suriya even before he got into the industry, says that she didn’t know much about Jyotika before working with her. "It was only on the sets that I got to know her. In her voice note, she told me I was missed on the sets. It feels great to hear such things," she says.

Kaatrin Mozhi was recently in the news for Simbu's cameo role in the film. The film, which marks the second association of Jyotika and Radha Mohan after 2007's Mozhi, is an official remake of the Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu
