Gautham Menon launches Malayalam web-series

Director Gautham Menon’s Ondraga Entertainment is venturing into Malayalam for the first time with a mini web series titled Anatomy of a Kaamukan. Produced in collaboration with the Kerala-based KaChaTaThaPa Originals, the first episode of the series will premiere on July 20. The second episode will be be out on July 27.

Anatomy of a Kaamukan will be an examination of the different types of male lovers we see around us. Amal Thampy, a graduate of the Adyar Film Institute, is directing the series. Amal has been working as an associate director in the Tamil film industry for the past four years. His short film, I am 22, was screened at the International Film Festival of India (Goa) in 2014. Vishnu Agasthya, a popular Malayalam television personality, is playing the lead.  The series, which will be available with subtitles on Ondraga’s YouTube channel, is written by Thampy, Sarath Mohan, Megha Thomas and Vishnu Agasthya. According to KaChaTaThaPa Originals, the number of episodes have not been finalised yet. Ondraga Entertainment launched their Tamil web series titled Weekend Machan last year.
