The first look and audio of the motion capture  animation film, Kizhakku Africavil Raju, starring  MGR, was launched on Sunday. We had earlier reported in May that Arrambam and Bogan-fame Akshara Gowda is a part of the project and that she is prepping for some demanding action choreography. It has come to light now that Sayyeshhaa has been roped in for the film.

A film with the same title was initially launched by MGR in the seventies. It was touted to be one of the most expensive projects of that time and was planned to be shot in various countries across the world. But the project never took off due to the actor’s political commitments. Almost five decades later, the title of the film is now being used by director-animator Arul Moorthy for his film, which brings back MGR on the screen using motion capture technology. Kizhakku Africavil Raju has music by D Imman and the film is jointly bankrolled by Ishari Ganesh and Prabhudheva.

Meanwhile, Sayyeshhaa, who is riding high on the success of her latest release Kadaikutty Singam, has Ghajinikanth and Junga ready for release and is currently shooting for Suriya’s next film with director KV Anand.
