National Award-winning actor Salim Kumar will be soon be seen in another serious avatar in a short film about cyberbullying. Titled Thamara, the short film is directed by Hafiz Mohamed and will have Salim Kumar playing the role of a father seeking justice for his daughter. A preview show will be screened in Kochi soon.

The film's scriptwriter Ratheesh Ravi says, "The story has a thought-provoking subject matter. What if someone uploaded a clip of a girl online and then thousands shared it? Are they also accountable for the deed or just the uploader alone? This is what the story addresses. The intention is to point out the hypocrisies of some individuals."
