CE Features

Game of Thrones-fame Jason Momoa, who rose to fame playing Aquaman in last year's Justice League, will soon be reprising the role for his stand-alone film which will be released later this year. The actor will also play the lead in Apple's upcoming sci-fi series, See. Steven Knight of The Girl in the Spider's Web fame, who has written the series, will executive produce it, together with executive producer and series director Francis Lawrence, who recently helmed Red Sparrow.

See is described as a futuristic piece of epic world-building, and Momoa will play Baba Voss, a fearless warrior and leader, in it.

Apple is also planning a series starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon set behind the scenes at a network morning show. They've also given the nod for a thriller series by M Night Shyamalan, as well as a space drama from Battlestar Galactica-creator Ronald D Moore.
