Unlike Puneeth Rajkumar, his elder brother Shivarajkumar's voice is a rarity to hear, especially as a singer. But Chandrashekar Bandiyappa has managed to get the actor to lend his voice for his upcoming directorial, Taarakasura. The film marks the debut of Vaibhav, and interestingly, has Shivanna singing the introductory track for the hero.

The actor recorded the song 15 days ago, but revealed so only today. "Shivanna is a perfectionist and sang the song thrice before he thought it was good enough," says the director.

Taarakasura has Manvitha paired opposite Vaibhav, and will see her playing two shades. The film, produced by Narasimhalu has music by Dharma Vish, while Kumar Gowda is its cinematographer.
