Henry Cavill recalls his first stunt for MI: Fallout

CE Features

The sixth instalment of the Mission Impossible franchise, Fallout introduces August Walker, a CIA agent played by Henry Cavill, and he will go head-to-head with Tom Cruise's Ethan Hawke.

About the first stunt sequence he shot for the franchise's latest, Cavill says it features him and Cruise parachuting from 25,000 feet out of a C-17 Globemaster military plane and crashing onto the top of a glass building, only to realise there is no way down. So Cruise crawls to a high tension wire, disconnects it and uses it to swing back to grab Cavill and rappel the 120 feet to the ground. "I remember thinking, 'It’s going to be great fun; it’s going to be so cool.' You don’t realise how high that building is until you’re standing on the bottom and being hoisted all the way up to the top in preparation for the move," Cavill adds.

Mission Impossible: Fallout is distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and will be released in India on July 27 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
