The official Tamil remake of Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu, Kaatrin Mozhi, went on floors on June 4 and while the shooting is progressing briskly, the latest update is that actor Simbu will play a cameo in the film. The actor, who will be seen playing himself, will essay the role played by Ayushmann Khuranna in the original and has completed shooting for his portions at an FM station set. Kaatrin Mozhi will mark the fourth collaboration of Simbu and Jyothika after Manmathan, Saravana and the yet-to-be-released Mani Ratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film will see Jyothika play a homemaker whose ordinary life changes when she unexpectedly lands a job as late-night RJ and it also stars Vidhaarth, Lakshmi Manchu and Kumaravel in crucial roles. Produced by BOFTA, the film also marks the debut of AH Kaashif, the nephew of AR Rahman, as the composer.
