The makers of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Geetha Govindam are targeting a release on August 15. Billed to be a new age rom-com, the film is being directed by Parasuram of Solo fame. The actor took to Twitter to reveal the release date and also shared a poster of the film. 

Produced by Bunny Vaas and presented by Allu Aravind, the film revolves around a boy and girl, who have diverse beliefs about love. “The film shows Vijay in an interesting role with different shades…wearing an attitude. Rashmika got into the skin of her character as Geetha. The duo will light up the screen with their presence and chemistry,” says director Parasuram.

The film has music by Gopi Sundar.
