Sunday Holiday-fame Jis Joy's new film with Asif Ali, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, has started rolling. This is the actor's next film after Mandhaaram and Iblis. It is notable that Asif starred in Jis Joy's directorial debut, Bicycle Thieves.

Aishwarya Lekshmi has replaced Mamta Mohandas as the female lead of the upcoming film. Jis told us earlier that the film will be a message-driven, family-friendly romantic comedy. It will be shot at Pondicherry, Bengaluru, and Kochi.

With Renji Panicker, Siddique, Shanti Krishna, KPAC Lalitha, and Balu Varghese appearing in supporting roles, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum will have cinematography by newcomer Renadive and music by Prince George.
