Chiranjeevi extends his support for Team Chalo

Murali Krishna CH

The crowd at Yousufguda Stadium went berserk seeing megastar Chiranjeevi at the pre-release event of actors Naga Shaurya and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming romedy Chalo.

Chiru, sporting a no-moustache look, dazzled at the event and spoke at length about the need to see more young talent in the industry.

“Shaurya is counted among the promising and handsome actors of this generation. I’ve seen his work in his film opposite Niharika, and I came here to encourage him and his team. Seeing a young Shaurya reminds me of an instance from my initial days when I didn't get any encouragement from the then superstar, who didn’t have time to attend my film event. I was distressed because that hero did not show up for my function. I know how it feels for a young actor if he doesn’t find support from his seniors. So I’m here to boost the morale of Chalo's team and wish them all success on this occasion,” he said.

Also seen were director Vamshi Paidipally, producer C Kalyan and other cast and crew of Chalo. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film is slated to release on February 2.
