It looks like Jiiva is off to a good start this year. Two  of his films--Kee and Kalakalappu 2--are ready for release, and from the promotions, it appears that they might both hit the screens on the same day, February 9. 

This is in stark contrast to last year, when the actor only had one release, Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae. 

While the makers of Kee have stuck to this release date from the beginning, Kalakalappu 2 was previously planned for a Pongal or Republic Day release, but the makers seem to have finally zeroed in on the February date. 

Kee is produced by Michael Rayappan and directed by newcomer Kalees, while Kalakalappu 2 is a multistarrer directed and produced by Sundar C under his home banner. Incidentally, both films feature Nikki Galrani in the lead.
