Sandakozhi 2 reaches halfway mark

The sequel to 2005's Sandakozhi, starring Vishal and directed by Lingusamy, is 50 per cent complete and the team is heading to Dindugal to complete the remaining portions

The sequel to the 2005 Vishal-starrer Sandakozhi is up and running at a brisk pace. The team has completed 50 per cent of the shooting in Chennai and will be heading to Dindigul to complete the remaining portions. 

Vishal shared a selfie with the team on his social media page.

The film will have Rajkiran reprising his role as Vishal's father and Keerthy Suresh has been roped in as the heroine. Varalaxmi will be seen in an important role in the film, which will have Lingusamy and Yuvan Shankar Raja returning as director and composer, respectively. 

Meanwhile, Vishal is awaiting the release of Irumbu Thirai.
