Padmaavat banned in five Indian states now

The film will not be released in these Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, UP, Gujarat, and Haryana

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat has been banned by the Government of Haryana.

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij tweeted on Tuesday about the ban being imposed on the film, which is set to release nationwide on January 25. 

 
The decision was taken at a Haryana cabinet meeting. 

Haryana becomes the fifth BJP ruled state to ban the film, after Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, UP, and Gujarat.
