Megha Akash, who made her Telugu debut with Nithiin-starrer Lie, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Kanuganti in his debut film.

“After considering quite a few names, the makers have zeroed in on Megha Akash for the female lead role. They feel she will fit the bill for the role that is vibrant and vivacious,” says a source.

Star maker Satyanand, who produced about 60 heroes in Telugu cinema has reportedly trained Kalyan in acting.

To be directed by Rakesh Shashi of Jatha Kalise fame, the yet-to-be-titled film’s principal shooting will begin soon. Sai Korrapati, who earlier produced Eega and Legend, is bankrolling this project which is being mounted on a lavish scale.
