Actor Rajasekhar’s daughter Shivani is going to make her acting debut opposite Adivi Sesh in a new film tentatively titled 2 States. A remake of the Bollywood film of the same name, the film marks the directorial debut of VV Vinayak’s former protege Venkat Reddy.

“The script work is going on and the film will go on floors in February. The story revolves around a Telugu boy, who falls head over heels for a North Indian girl. Unlike the Hindi version, the remake will focus on the lead pair, who have contrasting personalities,” informs a source.

Interestingly, the film was initially planned with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, but things never worked out for the makers. Gopi Sundar is scoring the music for the film, which is to be produced by MLV Satyanarayana.
