Pawan Kalyan-starrer Agnyathavaasi has been given U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film has passed with no cuts and has a certified runtime of 155 minutes.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S Radha Krishna, the film also features Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel as the female leads. Bollywood actor Boman Irani and Tamil actors Aadhi Pinisetty and Khushbu Sundar also play crucial roles in the film, which will show Pawan Kalyan in two dimensions – one in a full action avatar and the other with a comical touch.

In the meantime, speculations were rife that T-series has issued a legal notice to the filmmakers of Agnyathavaasi asking them to clarify if their film is original. However, sources close to the producer claim they are yet to receive formal notice from the Bollywood production house. “We are yet to receive the notice. Once we get an official communication from them (T-series), we will reply to it at the earliest. The film is on track for January 10 with the overseas premieres planned on January 9,” says a source.
