Rumour has it that Karthik Subbaraj's next with Rajinikanth will go on floors in two months. The film's production house Sun Pictures made the announcement on Friday. 

Since Kaala is almost ready for the release and 2.0 is in post-production, it looks like Rajini has given bulk dates to Karthik. 

Sources also say the director is planning to finish the shooting of this mega-budget project this year. A source close to Karthik adds, "It will be a pucca Thalaivar film with all the necessary mass elements though it's going to be different from his earlier films."

It's believed that the filmmaker's regulars--music composer Santhosh Narayanan and editor Vivek Harshan--have been roped in for the project.
