Director Venky Atluri is in demand as several producers are making a beeline to rope him in for their next film after his debut directorial Tholi Prema was adjudged a runaway hit. However, even before the Varun Tej-starrer released, the actor-turned-director had committed to direct a film each for producers BVSN Prasad and Dil Raju.

According to a source, Venky will be teaming up with actor Akhil Akkineni for his second film. However, when Cinema Express reached out to Venky for confirmation, the director said, “I haven’t come out of the nostalgia. It is too early to comment on this as I’m yet to finalise who I’m going to make it with. I’m still working on my script.”
