Simran is Seema Raja's villain

The actor will be seen in a role with negative shades again after 2009's Ainthaam Padai

As we had reported earlier, Simran will essay a crucial role in Sivakarthikeyan's next, Seema Raja, and according to reliable sources, it has been confirmed that she will be playing the main antagonist in the film. The last time the actor played a full-fledged negative role, was in 2009's Ainthaam Padai.

A major portion of Seema Raja has been shot in and around Kutralam. The source also added that the film will have an important period flashback involving heavy CG.

Co-starring Samantha Akkineni, Napolean, and Soori, this film is the third collaboration of Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan. 

Touted be the story of a youngster from a royal lineage, the film is slated for release on September 13 targeting the Vinayagar Chaturthi weekend.
