Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the female lead in Trivikram Srinivas’s next, opposite Jr NTR.

“After a lot of dilly-dallying, Trivikram and NTR have agreed to get Pooja  on board as the female lead. Out of the many names that were proposed, it finally came down to a toss between Kiara Advani and Pooja. But the latter has finally been offered the contract,” says a source close to Jr NTR.

Produced by Haarika and Haasine Creations, and touted to be a family drama with Trivikram’s mark, the film’s principal shooting will begin on March 18 in Hyderabad. PS Vinod, who was part of hits like Dhruva, Vikram Vedha and Hello, will be the film’s cinematographer. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.
