Remember the Kannada actor Sudeep who made heads turn with his performance in Tamil films Naan Ee and Puli? Now we hear that the actor is all set to work in Dhanush's directorial, which will also feature the Tamil star. 

As we had previously reported, this project will be produced by Thenandal Films and the film will go on floors soon. Our source tells us that Dhanush was in Bengaluru recently to narrate the story to Sudeep, who liked the storyline and his character, and has given the green signal. It's also speculated that this yet-to-be-titled film is in pre-production, and portions of it will be set in the pre-Independence period. 

Incidentally, Sudeep is currently busy with Ambi Ning Vayassaytho, which is a remake of Dhanush's first directorial, Pa Paandi. The Kannada film sees Ambareesh reprising Rajkiran's role in the original. Sudeep will play Ambareesh's younger version in the film, which was played by Dhanush himself in Pa Paandi. 

Also, just like Dhanush who's awaiting the release of his Hollywood debut, The Extra Ordinary Journey Of The Fakir, Sudeep too will be stepping into Hollywood with Risen, a science-fiction film directed by Eddie Arya.
