Shraddha excited about shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu

The upcoming comedy-drama, directed by Shree Narayan Singh and written by Vipul K Rawal, also stars Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam

Shraddha Kapoor has started shooting for her next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The actor shared the news on Twitter.

Her co-star Shahid Kapoor has already started shooting for the film. To be shot in Uttarakhand, the film is a social comedy-drama that also features Yami Gautam, who will be seen in the role of a lawyer.

The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, who helmed the Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
