Diljit Dosanjh wants to dub Rangoot in Hindi and English

The Punjabi actor wants to dub his upcoming war film for a wider reach

Diljit Dosanjh says he is trying to dub his upcoming Punjabi film Rangroot in Hindi and English for a wider reach.

"Rangroot is based on the first world war. It is a Punjabi film. The response to the trailer was very good. I've wanted to do a film like this for the past three-four years. But the budget was too high. A Punjabi film is not usually made on such a high budget," says  Diljit.

The actor, says a big budget is unsafe. "It is not very safe, but I am thankful that our producers made this film for me. If this goes well, then we would make more such films," he adds.

Diljit will next be seen in Welcome To New York, a comedy film, directed by Chakri Toleti, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani.
