We had told you Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala is likely to get released on April 14, the same day when 2.0 was originally planned for release. We hear Santhosh Narayanan has been working around the clock for the background score of the Ranjith directorial.

On Twitter, the composer thanked the Kabali filmmaker, Vetrimaaran, and Dhanush for the freedom he was given to explore new music in Kaala and Vada Chennai.

Santhosh also added he will be revealing more details about the songs of these two films in upcoming weeks.

Kaala and Vada Chennai are being produced by Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions respectively.
