Nandita Swetha, last seen in Telugu in Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, has closed a deal to play the second lead in Srinivasa Kalyanam, a family drama being written and directed by Satish Vegesna.

“After a lot of dilly-dallying, the team has zeroed in on Nandita Swetha. She will be playing one of the leads alongside Nithiin. However, the lookout for the main lead is still underway. Although the makers earlier approached Pooja Hegde for the female lead’s role, things never worked out owing to date issues,” says a source.

Produced by Dil Raju, the principal shooting of Srinivasa Kalyanam will begin in Amalapuram from March.
