Director Parasuram, who is having the time of his life after the success of Geetha Govindam, is said to be keen on casting actor Allu Arjun in a romantic entertainer.

"The actor and the director have been talking about working together in a film for some time now. Recently, Prasuram has pitched a triangle love story to Bunny and impressed by the plot-line, the actor has asked the director to develop the script," says a source.

There were also reports that director Trivikram was to work with Allu Arjun and had even narrated a story to him, inspired by the Bollywood film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. But the project has been put on the backburner due to reasons unknown, and the actor is now planning to team up with young directors. Speculations were also rife that director Sankalp Reddy is preparing a script for him.

"As Naa Peru Surya failed, Allu Arjun is taking his time to finalise the director he will work with next," the source adds.
