Ajith and director Siva's fourth collaboration, Viswasam, has been certified 'U' by the CBFC. The film is bankrolled by TG Thyagarajan, Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan for Sathya Jyothi Films.

In a statement, producer TG Thyagarajan said, "We have always been linked closely with family entertainers, and over the years, we have churned out films that cater to the family audiences. We are now happy that CBFC has given our upcoming film Viswasam a ‘U’ certificate. Our production house is thankful to Ajith Kumar sir and director Siva for being the supportive pillars in making this film happen." 

Slated for a Pongal release, the film, with music by D Imman, also stars Nayanthara, Vivekh, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramesh Thilak, Yogi Babu and Anaikha. The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Viswasam has been acquired by KJR Studios.
