Actor Naina Ganguly, last seen in director Ram Gopal Varma's crime-thriller, Vangaveeti, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Varun Sandesh in a new film. To be directed by Chandra Mahesh, the untitled film will go on floors soon.

"Naina's performance as Vangaveeti Ratna Kumari in the RGV directorial has struck a chord with the audience and industry folks alike. Director Chandra Mahesh feels that she would be a perfect fit to portray a character in his film that has great scope for performance and glamour," reveals a source.

A leading production house is likely to produce this film, which also marks the comeback of Varun Sandesh after a three-year hiatus.
