Both Rajinikanth's Petta and Ajith's Viswasam are hitting the screens on Pongal and the competition is getting intense with every passing day. And the competition also extends to social media, where it has been raining updates from both the teams.

Following the album of Petta, D Imman's Viswasam album, which comprised of eleven tracks including five songs, one theme song, and five instrumental versions of the songs, was recently released.

Music director D Imman has now revealed that the instrumental version of one of the songs was performed by Grammy Award-winning musician, Prakash Sontakke, a slide guitarist. Incidentally, Prakash had also played the guitar for the song version of the same, sung by Sid Sriram.

Imman took to Twitter to share the news, saying, "Glad to introduce Grammy Award-winning Slide Guitarist Prakash Sontakke for his instrumental on Kannaana Kanney from Viswasam. Recording Those interludes, fill-ins in between the wonderful vocals of Sid Sriram was a treat to me first as a music fanatic, then as a composer and arranger."
