We already know that Ajith’s next, currently with a working title AK59, will be a remake of the 2016 Hindi film Pink with the Viswasam actor set to reprise the role Amitabh Bachchan played in the original.

The latest we hear is that Nazriya Nazim, who was last seen in Tamil cinema in Thirumanam Enum Nikkah, and Kalyani Priyadarshan, who made her onscreen debut in the Telugu film Hello, have joined the Ajith-starrer. Nazriya and Kalyani might have been roped in to play the roles made memorable by Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari in the original.

The remake, directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru-fame will be produced by Boney Kapoor and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
