Karthi-Lokesh Kanagaraj film goes on floors

The film starring Anjathey-fame Naren, Ramana and George Mariyaan in important roles, does not have a heroine

We had already told you that Karthi's next film after Dev will be directed by Maanagaram-fame Lokesh Kanagaraj and will not be inspired from the comic book, Irumbu Kai Maayavi. The yet-to-be-titled film, temporarily referred to as Karthi 18, was launched today by actor Sivakumar. 

Interestingly, the film, starring Anjathey-fame Naren, Ramana and George Mariyaan in important roles, does not have a heroine. The team is currently on the hunt for actors to play the supporting roles. The action thriller, which has been planned to be shot in and around Chennai and Tirunelveli, is said to have some intense action blocks to be choreographed by stunt master duo Anbariv.

The film, jointly produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekandanda Pictures, has music by Sam CS, cinematography by Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru-fame Sathyan Sooryan, and editing by Philomin Raj.
