Manoranjan’s upcoming film, directed by Manu Kalyadi, has been titled Prarambha. Carrying the caption, ‘Love life begins’, the poster will be released tomorrow, to celebrate his birthday. Miss Goa, Keerti Kalakeri will star opposite the actor in this film, which is touted to be an intense love story. The eighteen-year-old actor will attend various workshops before she shooting for the film.

According to Manoranjan, the film will be 'youthful and trendy'. “A good film is always the best birthday gift and I am happy to work with a whole new team. The composer, Prajwal Pai, has already finished a song for the film, and he has done a good job. The pre-production work is going really well and we are ready with the script and location. Going by the current status, we will start the film by mid-January,” he says.

The two-film-old actor, adds that Prarambha is a calculated risk. “It is challenging not to follow the regular format of a masala cinema. As a newcomer, I guess I can experiment with new kinds of films.”

Manoranjan will also resume shooting for Chillum, directed by J Chandrakala, which was discontinued mid-way.
