Pelli Choopulu-fame Ritu Varma is likely to star opposite Nani in his new film to be directed by Vikram K Kumar.

"The film is an anthology of five short stories featuring women from different stages of life. Ritu has been high on the list of names to play one of the five central characters. Going by her recent work, Vikram feels that she will be a perfect choice to pull off a character who is in her late 20s. The director is also contemplating roping in two famous yesteryear actors for the other roles," says a source.

Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the principal shooting of the untitled film referred to as Nani 24 will commence in February. PC Sreeram, who earlier teamed up with Vikram in films like 13 B and Ishq, has been roped in to handle the cinematography for this thriller.
