Director Haneef Adeni's second film Mikhael has been wrapped up after an 84-day shoot. Starring Nivin Pauly in the lead, the film is Adeni's follow-up to The Great Father. Nivin plays the role of a doctor, while Unni Mukundan will be seen in an important role as well. Anto Joseph is producing this project under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.

Mikhael has Manjima Mohan playing the female lead. The supporting cast features Sudev Nair, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Renji Panicker and Shanthikrishna among others. The film has music by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Vishnu Panicker.
