Hansika Motwani, last seen in Telugu in Goutham Nanda, has been signed to play the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan in an upcoming romcom. Titled Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, the film is being directed by G Nageswara Reddy. While Sundeep will be seen as an advocate in this film, the makers are keeping Hansika's role under wraps. Also starring Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Prudhvi, the film will go on floors on December 14 in Hyderabad.

Bankrolled by Agraharam Nagireddy and Sanjeevu Reddy, Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL has music by Shekar Chandra. The film's story is provided by Rajasimha Tadinada. Sundeep, who awaits the release of Next Enti later this week, is also working on Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene.
