The audio and teaser of Sivakarthikeyan's debut production venture, Kanaa, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj in the lead role, was launched in Chennai today. And the actor-turned-producer, who spoke at the event, revealed that his next production will feature the entire team of the YouTube channel Black Sheep, with Saravanan Meenatchi-fame Rio Raj playing the lead. 

"Kanaa is India's first women's cricket film. We've done everything possible to justify whatever was in the script. The last twenty minutes of the film will feature a full-fledged international cricket match. I am not aiming for a very high profit out of Kanaa. But, whatever I earn will be used as an investment for another honest project by a new team," he added.

Kanaa traces the life of a village girl who aspires to win the World Cup for India in cricket. The film has music by Maragatha Naanayam-fame Dhibu Ninan Thomas and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan.
