The wait is over as actor Allu Arjun has decided on his next project, and it will be directed by Manam-fame Vikram Kumar.

“Allu Arjun has taken his own sweet time to finalise his next film after Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India. Of the two storylines pitched by Vikram Kumar--a socio-fantasy and a commercial entertainer--the actor has given his nod for the latter. Currently, the director is giving final touches to the script and will meet Arjun soon for a final narration,” reveals a source.

The film is likely to be bankrolled by Nallamalupu Bujji and Dr K Venkateswara Rao, who earlier produced Race Gurram with Allu Arjun. While the launch ceremony is expected to be held during Dasara, the team is planning to commence the shoot later this year.

It is learnt that the Sarrainodu actor has also agreed to work with a seasoned director for another film and a formal announcement on the same is awaited.
