Nayanthara, who is playing the leading role opposite Sivakarthikeyan in his next film directed by M Rajesh, joined the sets on Tuesday. The venture was launched in May amid much fanfare. 

The film, also featuring actors Radikaa Sarathkumar, Sathish and Yogi Babu, is touted to be a comedy entertainer, much like Rajesh's earlier ventures.  This is the second time Nayanthara joins hands with Sivakarthikeyan after last year's Velaikkaran directed by M Raja. 

With Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi in charge of the music, this yet-to-be-titled film has cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan, who earlier cranked the camera for the Suriya-starrer Thaana Serndha Kootam.
