Yash and Tamannaah sport retro look in KGF

A Sharadhaa

We had earlier reported that Yash-starrer KGF, directed by Prashant Neel, would feature a top south Indian heroine in a special guest appearance. Now, putting an end to much speculation, the makers have announced that Tamannaah Bhatia is the chosen one, and she will appear in a song in the film.

Two days ago, Tamannaah started shooting for the film along with Yash. We are told that she will be shaking a leg to the tunes of retro song, Jokey Naanu Balliya Minchu. CE got hold of a picture from the sets featuring the actors in a retro look.

A remix version of the popular track sung by LR Eshwari in Paropakari, has been created by music director Ravi Basrur. A huge retro pub-like ambience has been specially created for the track, which is choreographed by dance master Jani.

With the completion of this song, the much awaited project comes to a close. The big-budget film, made under Hombale Films, has been in production for over a year. The team is simultaneously working on the post-production as well, and the trailer, we are told, is likely to be released soon.

KGF will see a simultaneous release in five languages--Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi--and will mark Yash's debut in the other industries. Model-turned-actor, Srinidhi Shetty is making her debut with the film, which also features Achyuth Kumar and Nassar. The cinematography is by Bhuvan Gowda, while artwork is by Shivakumar.
