Actor Raashi Khanna got emotional while thanking Satish Vegesna, the director of her upcoming film Srinivasa Kalyanam, which is slated to hit the screens on August 9. The Tholi Prema actor, who plays Siri in the film, burst into tears while watching the special screening of the film on Sunday.

Srinivasa Kalyanam is a heart-touching love story which depicts family values, traditions and the importance of the colourful ritual called marriage. I was completely blown away by how my director (Satish Vegesna) presented all characters and story in an engaging, yet emotional way. The climax sequences moved all of us and soon after the show got over, I touched my director’s feet. I believe the audience will also undergo similar emotions in theatres,” says Raashi.
