Ramya Krishna, who enticed the audience with her feisty turn as Sivagami in the Baahubali franchise, is in talks for Varun Tej’s new film to be helmed by Saagar Chandra.

“Ramya is keen to do this film, but she has to announce her dates. It’s a strong role akin to her earlier films and the makers are enthusiastically waiting for her nod,” says a source.

Besides Ramya, the team has also initiated talks with Bollywood actor Boman Irani for a crucial role. “Boman is also in the wishlist for yet another fascinating role. However, he will not be paired opposite Ramya; they will be pitted against each other,” the source adds.

The film is said to have an intense flashback sequence and will present Varun in two different avatars-- as a lover boy and an action hero. The project will go on floors in November.
