The makers of Kaatrin Mozhi have finalised AH Kaashif, nephew of AR Rahman, to compose the music and background score for the Jyotika-starrer. While the film marks Kaashif's debut as a music director, he has released several independent music albums in the past. 

Kaatrin Mozhi is the Tamil remake of the Bollywood superhit comedy film, Tumhari Sulu, which had Vidya Balan playing the titular role.

Directed by Radha Mohan, the film stars Vidharth opposite Jyotika. A source says that the shoot is expected to start by June.
