Dhanush to attend Cannes Film Festival

Dhanush will be at the Cannes Film Festival in May to promote The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. Directed by Canadian filmmaker Ken Scott, the film is based on the book titled, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.

According to a report published in a leading English daily, a question-answer session with the film’s team will also be held at the India pavilion in Cannes Film Market.

Shot extensively in and around Mumbai, Paris, Spain and Rome, the film, which also features Bérénice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, and Gérard Jugnot, is scheduled to be released in France on May 30. 

The release date in India has not been announced yet.
