AR Rahman uses an ancient African instrument for Sarvam Thaala Mayam

CE Features

AR Rahman, who's working on the background score of Sarvam Thaala Mayam, has used a West African instrument, Kora, for the recording. Apparently, it's a 21-string lute-bridge-harp used extensively abroad. Since it's a musical, Rahman is trying to experiment with sounds like never before. In fact, he was required to compose all songs before the shooting commenced. Starring GV Prakash in the lead, the film marks the directorial comeback of Rajeev Menon after 15 years.
