We had previously reported that Vijay Sethupathi will be collaborating once again with director Arun Kumar after Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi. The film officially commenced on Saturday at Chennai.

Along with SN Rajaraja's K Productions, who distributed Baahubali, Yuvan Shakar Raja's YSR Films is also bankrolling this untitled project. Said to be an action entertainer, the film stars Anjali as the female lead, as well as Vivek Prasanna. Linga, who was also seen in Sethupathi, has been roped in as the antagonist.

With Yuvan handling the music, Sreekar Prasad is the editor for this film that'll be shot extensively in Malaysia and Tenkasi. Incidentally, Yuvan, who got into production with the yet-to-be-released Pyar Prema Kadhal, is also producing Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan that'll be directed by Seenu Ramasamy.
